On August 17th, 2024, an unusual series of events unfolded that left everyone in the Moide Patil household talking. It all began when Rannvijay was busy working at the mill. Meanwhile, Vaiju, who was nearby, contemplated whether to approach him. Just then, Ragini called Vaiju with a request. Ragini needed someone to pick up Arhaan from school because she had her first online sitar class scheduled at the same time. Vaiju agreed, and Ragini expressed her gratitude before heading off to her class.

Vaiju, sensing tension in Rannvijay’s demeanor, informed Jaikant that she was going to fetch Arhaan from school and would return within an hour. Upon reaching the school, Vaiju suggested that Arhaan walk home with her. However, Arhaan, being a bit stubborn, insisted on taking a car instead.
With no car available, Vaiju gave Arhaan a piggyback ride, but the boy soon started complaining about the heat and dust. Eventually, Vaiju agreed to take an auto-rickshaw to get them home. Unfortunately, the driver of the rickshaw was drunk, something Vaiju did not initially notice. As they set off, the driver’s reckless driving became evident. Despite Vaiju’s pleas for him to stop, the driver assured her that they would reach home safely. However, Arhaan was visibly scared.
The situation took a dangerous turn when the driver nearly collided with another vehicle, leading to a heated argument with the other driver. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Vaiju took matters into her own hands and decided to drive the auto-rickshaw herself. This unexpected turn of events caught the attention of passersby, who began recording the incident. The video quickly reached Jaikant, who used it to provoke Rannvijay, suggesting that Vaiju had left her work without informing anyone and was putting Arhaan’s safety at risk.
Upon reaching home, Arhaan excitedly shared his experience with everyone, saying that he had a lot of fun and wanted Vaiju to pick him up from school every day. Ragini, noticing his excitement, asked him to calm down. However, Rannvijay, now angered by Jaikant’s words, arrived home with Jaikant and confronted Vaiju. He questioned her decision to leave the mill and drive the rickshaw.
Ragini, sensing the tension, stepped in to defend Vaiju. She explained that it was she who had asked Vaiju to pick up Arhaan from school. Vaiju then recounted the entire ordeal, explaining how she had no choice but to take control of the rickshaw when the driver turned out to be drunk. Just as she was explaining, a commotion erupted outside the Moide Patil house. A group of auto drivers stormed in, accusing Vaiju of stealing the rickshaw.
Rannvijay, standing by Vaiju, defended her actions, stating that she did what was necessary under the circumstances. The situation escalated when the rickshaw driver labeled Vaiju as a thief. Rannvijay stood firm, arguing that Vaiju’s actions were justified. To prove her point, Vaiju took out a bottle of alcohol from the driver’s possession and asked the others to smell it. She then turned to Nagraj, asking him to explain the law and the punishment for such behavior. The rickshaw driver, realizing the trouble he was in, pleaded with them not to cancel his license.
Before leaving, Rannvijay demanded that the driver apologize to Vaiju, which he did. After the tension subsided, Rannvijay lightened the mood by joking with Vaiju, saying he would deduct her salary next time she left without informing anyone. Meanwhile, Jaya tried to engage Rannvijay in conversation, but he was still upset about their previous argument. Vasundhara observed the exchange from a distance.
Later, when Rannvijay asked for tea, Vaiju brought him a special brew she had made just for him. She also took the opportunity to thank him for defending her in front of the auto drivers. Rannvijay, touched by her gratitude, smiled as he sipped the tea. The episode ended on a lighter note when Jaya playfully covered Rannvijay’s eyes from behind, leading him to mistake her for Vaiju.
