On August 7, 2024, the episode of Lakshmi Narayan opens with Kayadu speaking to her son, Prahlad. She informs him that people will gather for a meeting the next day. Kayadu expresses her worry about Prahlad’s safety, urging him to understand that his father, Hiranyakashyap, will do anything to achieve his goals. She pleads with Prahlad to act smartly in the meeting and to apologize to his father to avoid seeing his mother in tears. Despite her pleas, Prahlad remains firm in his faith, praying to Narayan for protection and to stop his mother’s tears.

Narayan and Lakshmi, disguised as commoners, approach Prahlad. Lakshmi, seeing Prahlad cry, sits beside him and gently asks why he is upset. Prahlad calls her “mom” and asks if his mother sent her. Lakshmi, nodding, listens as Prahlad explains his mother’s worries. He reassures her that Narayan will not let anyone harm him. Lakshmi comforts him, promising that his mother will soon understand. Narayan, noticing Prahlad’s fatigue from his recent activities with Sukhracharya, advises him to sleep. Prahlad falls asleep on Lakshmi’s lap as Narayan and Lakshmi massage his legs. Naradar, observing this, admires the pure and beautiful relationship between God and his devotee.

The next day, Prahlad is awakened by the arrival of Hiranyakashyap, who is greeted with praise by everyone present. Prahlad greets his father, who mentions hearing about Prahlad’s actions from Sukhracharya. Hiranyakashyap, under the impression that Prahlad regrets his actions, asks him to acknowledge Hiranyakashyap as God. Kayadu also urges Prahlad to say “Praise to Hiranyakashyap.” Prahlad, torn between his love for his parents and his devotion to Narayan, admits that while people may consider his father a god, he cannot.

Hiranyakashyap, feeling betrayed, recalls a time when people prayed to him during a crisis, only for Narayan to save them. Angered by Prahlad’s refusal to recognize him as God, Hiranyakashyap commands Sukhracharya to bring the book of punishment. Lakshmi, witnessing this, expresses her dismay to Narayan. Sukhracharya reads that the punishment for mentioning Narayan’s name is death. Despite Kayadu’s pleas, Prahlad bravely declares that he is not afraid of punishment or death and will continue to chant “Namo Narayana.”

Hiranyakashyap, reminiscing about celebrating Prahlad’s birth with joy and sharing laddoos, tries to appeal to his son’s love. He asks Prahlad to forsake Narayan’s name for his father’s love. However, Prahlad remains resolute, asserting that his love for Narayan is unchanging. Lakshmi, worried about Prahlad’s safety, urges Narayan to intervene. Narayan decides to give Hiranyakashyap one last chance to change his ways, moved by Prahlad’s unwavering devotion. If Hiranyakashyap fails, Narayan assures that his end is near. The episode concludes with Prahlad steadfast in his devotion, chanting “Om Namo Narayana.”

The next segment of the story continues to unfold as Prahlad faces the wrath of Hiranyakashyap. Hiranyakashyap’s anger grows as he realizes that Prahlad will not waver in his devotion to Narayan. The tension between father and son reaches its peak as Hiranyakashyap orders his guards to tie Prahlad’s hands and legs, preparing to punish him for his defiance. Kayadu, heartbroken, pleads with Hiranyakashyap to spare their son, but her cries fall on deaf ears. Hiranyakashyap, blinded by his ego and desire for power, cannot see the purity of Prahlad’s devotion.

In the celestial realm, Narayan and Lakshmi watch with heavy hearts. Lakshmi, unable to bear the sight of Prahlad’s suffering, begs Narayan to save him. Narayan reassures her that the time for intervention is near, but it must be at the right moment. Prahlad, bound and facing his father’s wrath, remains calm and composed. He continues to chant “Namo Narayana,” his faith unwavering despite the threat of death.

Hiranyakashyap, frustrated by Prahlad’s defiance, orders his men to throw Prahlad into a pit of fire. The onlookers gasp in horror as Prahlad is cast into the flames. However, to everyone’s astonishment, Prahlad emerges unscathed, protected by a divine force. Hiranyakashyap is infuriated and accuses his men of failing to carry out the punishment. He orders them to try again, this time using venomous snakes. But once again, Prahlad remains unharmed, his faith in Narayan shielding him from harm.

The people gathered begin to murmur, questioning Hiranyakashyap’s power and the truth of Prahlad’s words. Hiranyakashyap, desperate to assert his dominance, commands that Prahlad be trampled by elephants. As the massive beasts approach, Prahlad continues to chant, his eyes closed in prayer. To everyone’s amazement, the elephants refuse to harm him, kneeling before Prahlad instead. The crowd, witnessing these miracles, starts to doubt Hiranyakashyap’s divinity and consider the possibility of Narayan’s supremacy.

Hiranyakashyap, feeling his authority slipping away, becomes even more enraged. He decides to personally kill Prahlad with his own hands. As he lifts his weapon to strike, a powerful voice echoes through the air, commanding him to stop. The sky darkens, and a fierce storm begins to brew. Narayan, in his fierce form as Narasimha, a half-man, half-lion incarnation, descends from the heavens. The sight of Narasimha strikes fear into the hearts of those present, including Hiranyakashyap.

Narasimha, with a mighty roar, grabs Hiranyakashyap and drags him to the palace threshold. In a swift and fierce battle, Narasimha defeats Hiranyakashyap, ending his tyranny and restoring peace. The people, witnessing the divine intervention, fall to their knees in reverence. Prahlad, free from his bonds, approaches Narasimha and bows in gratitude. Narasimha blesses Prahlad, acknowledging his unwavering devotion and purity of heart.

The story of Prahlad’s unwavering faith and the ultimate triumph of good over evil becomes a legend, inspiring generations to come. The episode ends with a sense of peace and divine justice, leaving the viewers with a profound message about the power of faith and the importance of standing up for what is right, no matter the consequences.
