Together with five other women, Katy Perry will leave a space mission. What you and the others will attract now became known.
Katy Perry will fly into space. On her Instagram profile, the 40-year-old now shows what she will look like. A contribution with three photos gives a foretaste of the exclusively female crew for flight to space.
In the first picture, the singer poses with the women who will go on this special trip with her. These are Jeff Bezos’ wife and children’s book author Lauren Sanchez, CBS presenter Gayle King, aviation engineer Aisha Bowe, human rights activist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn.
The women wear blue spatial suits in the photos. In the middle of the one -piece, the color changes a little into the light blue. The respective name of the person is on the chest. Blue Origin is on the arm – the name of the space company with which the women will fly. MultiMilliarch Jeff Bezos founded the space company in September 2020. The next trip of the New Shepard NS-31 is to start in spring, an exact date on which they are shot into space has not yet been announced. Perry not only celebrates her own space mission with the photos, but also the international day of manned space travel. She writes about the photos: “Forever in awe in front of the universe and its orientation.”
The flight is the eleventh manned flight of the “Blue Origin’s New Shepard” program. Overall, it is the 31st flight. So far, 52 people have found their way into space via Jeff Bezos’ companies. The flight of Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen and Kerianne Flynn will be the first pure women’s flight since 1963.
