India Namibia Ties UPI Like Payment System NPCI and Central Bank Licensing Agreement Hindi News Updates – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

Dr. Damu Ravi, Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, said that this is the first time that such a licensing agreement has been reached between India’s National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and Bank of Namibia. Its purpose is to introduce the real-time digital payment system in Namibia.

Agreement between NIPL and Namibia’s bank

Explain that this agreement has been reached between NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL) and the central bank of Namibia. This will help strengthen the digital payment system in Namibia and financially backward people can also be linked to digital services.

PM Modi emphasized on UPI’s participation in Namibia

Prime Minister Modi said in his address in Namibia’s Parliament that now people will be able to send money even before saying the tanni. Soon a Kunina’s Hima Dadi or a shopkeeper of Katutura will also be able to do digital transactions with just one tap, that too faster than Springbok.

PM Modi gets Namibia’s highest civilian honor

Also, PM Narendra Modi was also awarded the highest civilian honor of the order of the Most Enshland Velvicia Mirabilis during the Namibia tour. The award was established in 1995 and is named after Namibia’s unique desert plant ‘Velvichia Mirabilis’, which is considered a symbol of conflict, patience and perseverance. Significantly, this is the 27th International Award for PM Modi and the fourth honor received during this visit.
