Earthquake occurred in Baglung

Earthquake tremors were also felt in Kathmandu and some other districts of eastern Nepal. Two earthquake tremors were felt in Baglung and Myagdi districts of western Nepal respectively. An earthquake struck Baglung district about 300 km from Kathmandu at 6:20 am. Its intensity on the Richter scale was 4.1 and its center was the Khukhani area of ​​the district.

Earthquake tremors in Mayagdi

Earlier, earthquake tremors were felt in Mayagdi district, about 40 km from Baglung at 3.14 am. The Center said that its intensity was measured at 4.0 on the Richter scale, the center of which was the Muri area of ​​Myagdi district. According to NEMRC data, 10 earthquakes have occurred in Nepal in 2025, with more than 4.0 earthquakes, while 22 earthquakes were recorded in 2024.
