At Alemannia’s home game against Sandhausen, dozens of folder are missing. Long snakes form, the game will be kicked off later. The police and fans have an argument.

Chaos on the Tivoli: Before Alemannia Aachen’s 2-1 home win on Saturday (April 12th), numerous folders were missing. As a spokeswoman for the police report on the request of T-Online, the regulatory office wanted to check the qualification certificates of the security forces before the game. A “high double -digit number” of folders could not provide them, said the spokeswoman. Alemannia had to take care of a replacement at short notice.

The “Aachener Zeitung” also reports that dozens of folders did not even appear at work – they would have wanted to handle the controls. Long snakes were created before admission, the party had to be kicked off a quarter of an hour later at 4:45 p.m. It cannot be ruled out that Alemannia receives a fine from the German Football Association (DFB): clubs have already been prosecuted in the past.

Alemannia apologized on Sunday in a press release for the inconvenience. “Due to significant personnel failures in the security services used, significantly fewer folders were available than ordered,” the association wrote. A short -term solution had been found, but it was still long waiting times.

As a reason for the missing staff, Alemannia wrote: “Despite intensive preparation and extensive agreements in advance, we had to find that the planning data and feedback from the service providers presented did not have the necessary reliability”.

In advance, “clearly named, qualified employees” were ordered, but they had not started their service as agreed. The incident will be processed and the requirements for the commissioned service providers and their subcontractors will be “tightened”, according to Alemannia.

According to the police spokeswoman, there was also a discussion with fans at the Southwest entrance after the police wanted to control the fan group “Karlsbang Ultras”. Several police officers were slightly injured. A policewoman was hit by an unknown person “with his fist in the face”, said the spokeswoman. They had to be treated by a doctor. A hundred was requested to help.
