GST collections: The new financial year has started from 1 April. With this, good news has come for the government. In fact, in the month of March, the collection of Goods and Services Tax (GST) increased by 9.9 percent to more than Rs 1.96 lakh crore, compared to Rs 1.84 lakh crore last month. The march was the 13th consecutive month, with the GST collection more than Rs 1.7 lakh crore. The GST collection was Rs 5.8 lakh crore in this quarter, which is 10.4 percent more than the same period last year. After reducing the refund, the net GST collection in March was also 7.6 percent more than the previous year.
