We’re just a few days away from the launch of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, and the anticipation is palpable. Players are on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the rumored Greek mythology theme.

Epic Games first officially hinted at the Greek-theme for Season 2 when they introduced the Odyssey NPC at Ruined Reels. This character came complete with her own intriguing dialogue and quests. Since then, the Titan Hand and Pandora’s Box chest in-game event has made its appearance on the Island, with players from all corners of the globe teaming up to crack it open.

Now, here’s where it gets really interesting. An official Fortnite survey conducted by Epic Games has dropped a major hint that the iconic Greek god Kratos might finally be making his return in Chapter 5 Season 2.

Fortnite’s Official Survey Hints at the Possible Comeback of Young Kratos Skin in Chapter 5 Season 2

According to trusted Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, Epic Games mentioned ‘(2005) God of War’ in a new survey. These surveys often hint at upcoming collaborations, so if Epic is planning to add Young Kratos to Fortnite, there couldn’t be a better time than in a season themed around Greek mythology.

Kratos first graced Fortnite over three years ago, back in Chapter 2 Season 5. The Greek god of strength and power made his debut with his own Outfit and various cosmetics inspired by the famous franchise. His introduction coincided with the release of PlayStation’s God of War Ragnarok, and he quickly became a fan-favorite among the community, who have been clamoring for his return ever since.

While Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed that Kratos will be returning as his younger self, ‘Young Kratos’, there’s a high chance it might happen. After all, Epic Games’ Chief Creative Officer and Fortnite loremaster Charlie Wen is the designer behind this version of the skin.

With the theme also rumored to be Greek mythology, it seems like the perfect opportunity for a Young Kratos comeback. As ShiinaBR pointed out, Fortnite’s surveys often ask players about potential collaborations before they eventually make their way into the game. So, all we can do now is wait and see. Stay tuned, Fortnite fans!
