According to news agency ANI, a truck hit a car during the Amarnath Yatra near Battal’s Balli. Five Amarnath passengers were injured in the accident.
Kartar Singh of CRPF 137 Battalion in Udhampur said that “eight people were riding in the car, out of which five were injured. They have been rushed to the hospital and their condition is stable.

The 16th batch of 7908 pilgrims going on Amarnath Yatra left from Jammu in the morning amid tight security. The yatra was temporarily postponed on Thursday due to heavy rains.
