Is the world champion moving to the USA?

The fact that Thomas Müller will continue to play for FC Bayern from summer is considered excluded. But the club apparently has an idea of how the old star could continue.
As a professional footballer, Thomas Müller never wore a different jersey than that of FC Bayern. However, as has recently become known, the German record champion will not extend the working paper of the 35-year-old that expires in the summer-and has already decided Müller the decision about his sporting future in the club.
As the “Sport Bild” now reports, the 2014 world champion would like to play football for another year. Against this background, Bayern seem to explore a plan internally to install Müller as an ambassador for the club on the American market. Because: Several US clubs should be interested in an obligation by the offensive player. This probably includes FC Cincinnati and San Diego FC.
It is crucial, however, that the Munich bosses should now check whether another club Müller wants to make an offer: the Los Angeles FC. The club from the Hollywood metropolis is the Bayern partner club in the USA. In the United States, the club World Cup also takes place in summer, in which Germany will also participate. Exciting: Müller’s contract runs until June 30th. At that time, the round of 16 of the competition would be played.
According to the report, there is still no agreement on whether Müller will then appear for FC Bayern even without a new contract. However, the topic should be part of the current discussions between the Müller side and Bavaria. There are said to have been some of them in the past few months.
It was originally said that the club – as sports director Max Eberl had apparently conveyed it to Müller – wanted to extend it with the former international. That was in November. Müller is said to have asked for time.
In the meantime, however, the signs have changed. Two weeks ago there is said to have been a conversation between Eberl and sports director Christoph Freund on the one hand and Müller on the other. The Bayern bosses did not make a new contract offer to the professional-much to the surprise.
The reason for this: Trainer Vincent Kompany can apparently not guarantee no more playing time in the new season than up to date. Potentially, his minutes on the square would even lose weight. In addition, the Munichers want to save what board boss Jan-Christian Dreesen Müller is said to have announced in another conversation without Eberl and friend last week. He also did not have a new contract for the Klublegende in his luggage. Dreesen is said to have tried to make Müller, who is currently still one of the top earners in the club, to make a different role in the club tasty.
How things will continue remains unclear. However, despite his future, Müller should have various offers from TV channels and advertising partners.
