A man attacked a teenager in Upper Franconia and threatened her with a knife. The 17-year-old was slightly injured, the police said. She was on Friday at Burgebrach in the Bamberg district when the 35 -year -old suspect is said to have attacked her.
The man fled after the crime, but was temporarily arrested by a patrol afterwards. He was drunk and probably had drugs. When he was arrested, he resisted and spat on the officials.
An investigative judge ordered the man’s accommodation in a psychiatric facility. Among other things, he is accused of insult and threat.
