Drunk passenger prevents the start of Mallorca pilot

Pilot breaks off: a 53-year-old passenger was drunk and aggressive. His Mallorca trip ended with the federal police in Bremen.
A 53-year-old man from Worpswede delayed the start of a holiday pilot from Bremen to Mallorca at around 6 p.m. The Boeing 737 pilot stopped the start and returned to the starting position after the passenger had noticed aggressive behavior towards the cabin crew while roling. Due to the police commitment, the holiday plane was only able to start Spain with a 45 minute delay.
As a spokesman for the federal police in Bremen announced, the man ignored the security references and verbally aggressively approached the crew. The drunk then had to get out of the plane by alarmed federal police officers. His 56-year-old wife also left the plane voluntarily.
The officials accompanied the couple to the guard of the federal police. According to the federal police, the man admitted that he had consumed alcohol before flight, but refused a voluntary breath alcohol test. An administrative offense procedure according to the Air Security Act was initiated against the 53-year-old.
The drunk passenger does not only have to expect a fine – according to the federal police, he may also face recourse claims of the airline in an even unknown amount because of the late start.
