Hanover are looking for violent wind gusts on Saturday. This apparently has followed at the NDR radio house. There, more than half of a scaffolding collapse.
A scaffolding at the NDR radio house in Hanover broke out mostly on Thursday. According to the fire brigade, no one was injured in the incident. Strong gusts of wind could have been the cause of the collapse.
The rescue workers were alerted at noon and blocked the area around the radio house on the Maschsee during the approximately four -hour use.
In coordination with the scaffolding company, the entire scaffolding was then brought to the collapse, the fire brigade said. Then rescuers secured the remaining parts with clamping belts. A fire brigade drone was also used in the operation.
The exact cause of the collapse and the amount of the damage incurred were initially unclear.
“Fortunately, very few people stayed in the building at the time of collapse,” said the fire brigade. There was no event. The large broadcaster of the radio house offers space for 1,200 spectators and about 140 musicians on stage.
