C-Smash VRS is coming to PlayStation 5 on September 26, 2024. This hybrid play game will include both virtual reality (VR) and standard gameplay options. Players who purchase the PS5 version will receive the PlayStation VR2 version for free. Existing owners of the game can update to get the standard version at no additional cost.

C-Smash VRS is a reimagined version of SEGA’s classic game, Cosmic Smash. The game combines elements of racket sports with block-breaking gameplay, offering over 140 levels. It features striking graphics and original music by DJ Ken Ishii, Danalogue, and UNKLE, enhancing the immersive experience.
The game includes various modes such as Head-to-Head, Firewall, Quickshot, Zen, and Training, catering to both solo and multiplayer experiences. It also features cross-platform leaderboards, adding a competitive edge for players around the globe. The innovative Emote system allows players to communicate online using their rackets, adding a unique twist to interactions.

In addition to the main gameplay modes, the game includes an Infinity mode where players dodge and smash oncoming hazards, either solo or with a friend. This mode turns workouts into fun and intense gaming sessions. The Versus mode allows players to face off against friends or global competitors in fast-paced matches. C-Smash VRS is produced and published by RapidEyeMovers and developed by Wolf & Wood, known for their work in creating unique and physical gaming experiences. The game is currently available on PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro, and Pico 4 headsets, and will soon be accessible to all PS5 owners.
