The incident on August 8, 2024, starts with Lakshmi arriving at the Oberoi mansion. She stands at the doorstep and calls out for Parvati. Neelam, from inside, tells Lakshmi to stop and calls her hypocritical, accusing her of saying one thing and doing another. Neelam demands to know why Lakshmi is there. Lakshmi replies she is there for Parvati. Neelam insists Parvati will not leave with Lakshmi and tells her to go away. Hearing this, Lakshmi confirms Parvati is indeed in the Oberoi mansion and scolds Rishi for pretending he didn’t know where Rohan and Parvati were.
Ayush tries to clarify, saying he informed Rishi about Parvati’s whereabouts. Lakshmi snaps at Ayush, accusing him of telling everyone that Parvati is Rishi’s daughter without her consent. Karishma argues with Lakshmi, and despite Rishi’s attempts to calm things down, Neelam and Karishma ignore him. Neelam orders the servant to close the door on Lakshmi’s face.
Rishi tells his family they are wrong and reminds Neelam that Lakshmi is Parvati’s mother. Neelam, upset, says Rishi is no longer her son if he talks like this and leaves. Neelam, furious, vows in front of her family to bring Parvati back and never allow Lakshmi to meet her again. Later, in court, Rishi catches Lakshmi when she nearly falls, and reporters photograph them together. Neelam and Karishma clarify to the reporters that Rishi was merely helping Lakshmi.
The judge starts the court proceedings, stating that in the last hearing, it was revealed that Rishi and Malishka’s marriage is illegal, which casts the case in a new light. The episode ends on this note.
