Frattesi cheered frenetically and screamed his joy – but inside it looks anything but happy. Because a few days ago the grandmother of the winning goal shooter died. The 25-year-old after the game: “I always thought that the head was my strength. Nothing and nobody could get me disturbed. But there was a moment when it was different because I saw my grandmother.” He continued: “It was difficult to see her.”
In the penultimate regular minute of the first leg, Inter player Carlos Augusto broke through on the left and used Frattesi exemplary. Frattesi said after his emotional goal: “I think she had her fingers in the game and cheered up there as she normally did.”
