There is a possibility of KYC fraud through AI in banking, finance, insurance, telecom, logistics, healthcare, education and entertainment sector. Cyber criminals can carry out a big cyber fraud by generating fake documents of cyber criminals using AI’s photo zerenation feature. In such a situation, Deepfek detection tools will be required for institutions, which can identify fake documents made by AI.
Cyber experts say that traditional detection technology such as watermarking, C2PA metadata and face recording are not sufficient to detect fake documents. At this time there are many anti-detection tools that can easily bypass such systems. Seeing the fake documents made by AI, you will not feel that they are fake.

In 2024, people have suffered a loss of about 6 billion dollars due to fraud done through deepfec. Hong Kong’s MNC has lost about 22.5 million dollars last year due to deepfec. Experts feared that up to 40 percent cyber attack cases may come up by using social engineering and deep -s by 2028.
