Dhaka: Bangladeshi Chhatri has fallen behind former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her party. The National Citizen Party (NCP), led by the students, on Saturday demanded a ban on the Awami League of the disorganized Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Not only this, the NCP claimed that this party has “established” in Bangladesh. Therefore, he should not be allowed to participate in elections.

Addressing a protest rally in Shahbagh, National Citizen Party (NCP) member secretary Akhtar Hussain, while addressing a protest rally in Shahabag, called upon the officials to take steps to cancel the registration as a political party of Awami League as a political party, while addressing a protest rally in Shahbag. Hussain said that people have defeated Awami League at the cost of thousands of people and the party will not be allowed to be restored in the country.

Students had ignored Hasina in power for 16 years

The 16 -year -old government of the Awami League party collapsed due to the Hisank agitation led by Bangladeshi students in August 2024 and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was overthrown. After this, he was forced to leave the country. Sheikh Hasina is currently taking shelter in India. He has been filed by the acting government of Bangladesh, in which he has been blamed for the killing of dozens of people in the country. Mohammad Yunus, who is leading the caretaker government, is demanding extradition of Hasina from the Government of India. (Language)
