Aurora, the only team representing Southeast Asia (SEA) in DreamLeague Season 22, started off strong in the first group stage. However, the second group stage has proven to be a tough nut to crack. Despite their best efforts and a series of hard-fought matches, Aurora has yet to secure a win in the second group stage, losing all three of their Bo3 series so far. This puts them at the bottom of the points table, a position that doesn’t quite reflect the quality of their gameplay.

In their first series of the second group stage, Aurora faced off against Shopify Rebellion. Despite a strategy centered around Anti-Mage, Shopify outmaneuvered them, leading to a 1-0 defeat for Aurora. The second game was a nail-biter, with Aurora fighting tooth and nail. However, Shopify’s well-rounded draft gave them the upper hand, resulting in a 2-0 victory over Aurora.

Next up was Team Spirit. Aurora started the series on a high note, taking the lead with a flawless first game. The second game was a close call, with Aurora having a fair shot at a 2-0 win. However, a major teamfight loss turned the tide in favor of Spirit, who seized the opportunity to end the game. Despite a strong start in the third game, Aurora couldn’t maintain their momentum. Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk’s performance on Lifestealer played a pivotal role in Spirit’s comeback, leading to a 2-1 series win.

Aurora’s series against Gaimin was a testament to their competitive spirit. The first game was a battle of wits, with the outcome hinging on who could execute the best teamfights. Gaimin emerged victorious, thanks to superior execution and damage, taking a 1-0 lead. The second game saw Gaimin opting for some of the current top meta heroes, while Aurora stuck to their comfort picks. Unfortunately for Aurora, Gaimin’s choices paid off, leading to a 2-0 series win.

Despite these setbacks, Aurora has shown that they can hold their own against formidable opponents. Their strong gameplay and willingness to take on challenges head-on are commendable. If they can come up with more competitive drafts and maintain their composure in crucial teamfights, they stand to gain significantly. The road ahead is challenging, but given their recent form, the team is confident of making a comeback.

Aurora’s journey in DreamLeague Season 22 is far from over. They still have series to play against Xtreme Gaming, OG, Team Falcons, and BetBoom Team. Fans will be eagerly waiting to see if Aurora can turn the tables and secure a spot in the playoffs. Stay tuned for more updates!
