Assassin’s Creed Shadows is such a big game that it is still surprising to us even after countless hours of play. Did you know, for example, that there is another, well -hidden skills tree in addition to the two skill stones for Naoe and Yasuke? (via Forbes)))

So you come to the extended skill stree

When we navigate to “Knowledge” in the menu, either Naoes or Yasuks Skilltree with its six categories is displayed. If we choose one of them, the active and passive skills that we unlock with knowledge points are divided into six ranks. This in turn is released using knowledge points, which we receive primarily by completing side activities such as Katas and Temple.

At some point we also come to a point in the game where we have activated all six levels and the most important skills for us. However, the Open World is still full of opportunities to maintain knowledge and knowledge points.

Incidentally, Ubisoft did not show the hidden skill stree in the video for the progress system:

So where? Of course in the additional skill stree. If you are a little confused now, don’t worry, we didn’t find it immediately. In fact, a lot of players report that they only discovered him after countless hours. On Tiktok For example, it means: “80 hours, level 60 plus 2 knowledge and I didn’t know it”.

The “secret” skill stree can be opened directly via the knowledge overview by clicking the ranking symbol – which can quickly be understood as a simple display – at the bottom left:

The secret skill stree only includes passive bonuses

With the additional skill stree it also becomes clear: In AC Shadows there are not only six but eight knowledge ranks. However, there are no active skills behind these new knowledge that we can use with enough adrenaline, but only passive bonuses.

The ranks 6 to 8 in the passive skill stree are primarily there to spend the other knowledge and knowledge points later and to refine the playing style a little and to make Naoe and Yasuke stronger.

Bit by bit because the bonuses that offer these skills are quite low. For example, we increase the damage to head shots by 1.5 percent or 2 percent for aids. This is not much in itself, but can take time over time.

So if you have already unlocked all or the skills that are important to you in Naoes and Yasuks skill categories, you should not leave your other points lying around and instead invest them in the passive bonuses.

How about you? Did you already know the passive skill stree with the extra levels, or have you overlooked it for a long time?
