Now Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that by 2030, Uttar Pradesh will become the largest economy in the country with a per capita income equal to the national average. Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the second largest economy in the country during his 8 -year tenure as Chief Minister. He criticized the previous governments’ to ignore the development of the state in the last few decades. The Chief Minister said that when India became independent, the per capita income of Uttar Pradesh was equal to the national average. It decreased to one-third of the national average in the financial year 2016-17. We have managed to double it from the level of 2016-17. My assessment is that Uttar Pradesh will be the largest economy in the country.
Will achieve target by 2029-30
Adityanath said that we have set a deadline and the way we are working in different areas, we are confident that we will achieve our targets by 2029-30. The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state in the country and has the most challenges here. He said that the nature of these challenges was more artificial. This was the result of the activities of those who ruled Uttar Pradesh for a long time. Rich in natural resources, this state remained backward in every field. ” The Chief Minister said that even if it is the area of governance, welfare schemes for the needy, development of infrastructure, employment generation, the situation in 2016 was such that the identity of the state was tarnished.
A new wave of hope and hope came
Adityanath said that after the formation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government in 2014, there was a new wave of hope and hope. However, the schemes and initiative he had taken was not implemented in the state. He said that in 2017, the people of Uttar Pradesh focused on Prime Minister Modi’s appeal and formed the BJP government with absolute majority, the results are in front of everyone.
The Chief Minister said, “In the last eight years, we have tried to complete the tasks that the previous governments have not been able to do in 70 years. In the 70 years from 1947 to 2017, Uttar Pradesh’s economy was within Rs 12-12.5 lakh crore and at seventh or eighth position in the country.” He said, “The state’s economy has crossed Rs 27.5 lakh crore in the last eight years. Today the state is the second largest economy in the country.”
