Actor Basti Fährmann is stunned. He was asked to leave the vehicle in an over victim of homophobic hostility and asked to leave the vehicle.
Basti Fährmann shares a shattering incident. The actor, who plays in the “Club of Dinosaurs” series, is active on Instagram and Tiktok. He now reports on the network of an experience with a driver of the Uber company that offers taxi rides, among other things. Fährmann and his partner Mark were probably thrown out of the car by their chauffeur during a trip in Berlin – the trigger for it was probably that Fährmann and his friend had kissed on the back seat of the vehicle.
Fährmann filmed the action and divided it on Tikkok. “People, we are being treated so blatant homophobic, that’s crazy,” he says in the clip while he is filming when leaving a vehicle. Then you can see how someone takes luggage from the trunk.
According to their own statements, the couple only wanted to exchange a sign of affection after an evening at a party. But this apparently led to a drastic reaction of the Uber driver. The Tikok video can be heard, as Fährmann says to the driver: “Age, we only kissed. What’s up with you?” The driver then replies: “You don’t do it in my car” and call the two “fags” afterwards.
Basti Fährmann is deeply shaken by the incident. “Yes, what such a kiss can trigger in the UBER,” he comments in another TikTok video. He continued to emphasize that he could handle such experiences as an adult man, but asked what this could mean for queer young people.
Uber has now responded to the incident and explained RTL: “We very much regret that users had such a negative experience on a trip conveyed above us.” According to Uber, discrimination is not tolerated. The company has contacted the passenger and check the incident in detail. Fährmann also speaks of this in his current video. Accordingly, the company had guaranteed to support it in this case. However, it remains unclear whether the driver must fear consequences.
Basti Fährmann and his partner are now planning to report the incident to the police and hope to be able to point out through public attention that a safe space is not yet a matter of course for all people.
