With this update, several popular games are now accessible via Android Auto, including Candy Crush Soda Saga,, Angry Birds 2,, Farm Heroes Saga And Beach Buggy Racing. These games are not directly installed on the car system, but must be downloaded beforehand to the user smartphone. Once connected via Android Auto, they appear on the vehicle screen and can be launched when the car is stopped.
To avoid any dangerous behavior behind the wheel, and the accidents that go with it, Google has set up an automatic locking: as soon as the vehicle restarts, the game closes immediately and its icon is gray on the home screen as in the apps selector. This measure guarantees that games remain an entertainment option only during break period periods, especially during prolonged stops on rest areas or while waiting for a passenger.
This approach recalls the efforts of other manufacturers, such as Tesla, which already offers an integrated game mode with its on -board screens and a selection of titles to discover, in addition to streaming applications like Netflix.
