The opposition is an attacker on the government demanding revision of voter list in Bihar. There is a ruckus in the Bihar Legislative Assembly and Parliament about this. Now the Election Commission has issued a statement on the Bihar voter list revision case and has questioned whether the Election Commission should also include fake voters in the voter list?
‘Should fake voters be allowed to vote’
The Election Commission said about the criticism being done on the Bihar voter list revision case that ‘the Constitution of India is the mother of Indian democracy. So, fearing the protest, should the Election Commission be confused under the pressure of some people and clear the way of those who vote fake in the name of dead voters? Voters who have permanently migrated, who are voters fake or foreigners, should they go against the Constitution, first in Bihar and then to the whole country? ‘
The Election Commission asked, ‘Should we not prepare the voter list through a fair process? The voter list is the basis of fair elections and strong democracy. All these questions should be considered seriously and beyond political ideology on all these questions. The right time has come to seriously consider all these issues.
