Supreme Court Directs All Hotel Ownes Along Kanwar Yatra Route to Display License Registration Certificate – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

The Supreme Court has got a big relief from the Supreme Court on the QR code case for eateries. The court refused to stay the QR code order. The Supreme Court directed all the hotel owners of Kawad Yatra Marg to display license and registration certificates. The Supreme Court was hearing a petition challenging the instructions of the Uttar Pradesh government, in which it was made mandatory to display the QR code in all the eateries located on the Kandar Yatra route, so that the names and identity of the owners of the eateries could be known.

The petition challenged the order of the Uttar Pradesh government, in which the government had asked to display the QR code sticker at all food and drink shops and eateries on the Kandar Marg as well as displaying the shop owner’s name by putting banners outside the shops. While hearing this petition, a bench of Justice MM Sundresh had sought a response from the Uttar Pradesh government and the Uttarakhand government in this matter. The petitioners say that to show the names of the shopkeepers is discriminatory and at the same time it is a sign for the kanvadis which shop they have to ignore.

Fear of petitioners- this is the danger of increasing communal violence

The petitioners say that to show the names of the shopkeepers is discriminatory and at the same time it is a sign for the kanvadis which shop they have to ignore. The petitioners said that they fear that this decision of the government will increase communal tension and this would also increase the possibility of mob violence, especially incidents of violence against shopkeepers of minority community. The petitioners said that the Uttar Pradesh government’s order is a violation of the right to privacy.
