The resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has been approved. On the previous day, Dhankar had sent a letter to President Murmu to resign from the post. He cited health reasons behind the resignation. On Tuesday, the Rajya Sabha was informed about the notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs (July 22) regarding the resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on ‘X’ and wished the best health of Dhankhar. He wrote, ‘Jagdeep Dhankhar has got an opportunity to serve the country in many roles including the Vice President of India. I wish him good health. ‘
