Actors summoned on different dates

According to PTI, the investigating agency has asked Rana Daggubati to appear in its office in Hyderabad on 23 July. According to sources, Prakash Raj has been summoned on July 30, Vijay Devarakonda on 6 August and Lakshmi Manchu on August 13. According to the investigating agency, these people had given their support to online betting apps allegedly raising money. When these actors are presented before the ED on the due date, then their statements will be recorded under the PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act).

Case filed against many actors

Apart from these South actors, the ED has also registered a case against many social media influencers. In fact, the police of five states had registered an FIR against several celebrities in the case with batting apps. According to ED’s source, these celebrities are suspected of supporting online betting apps like Junglee Rummi, Jeetwin, Lotus 365. Many actors promoted these apps. According to sources, illegal money of crores of rupees has been obtained through illegal betting and gambling on the batting platform.

Sources said that many celebrities had earlier said that they did not know about the product, how to work. Also, these famous actors also claimed that they are not related to any wrong activity of the batting app platform.
