Congress MPs gave adjournment motion
- Congress MP B. Manikam Tagore proposed a stay in the Lok Sabha to discuss ‘Serious National Security and Foreign Policy Failure’- Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor.
- Congress MP Randeep Surjewala gave adjournment notice under Rule 267 for discussion on Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor in Rajya Sabha.
- Congress Rajya Sabha MP Renuka Chaudhary, under Rule 267, ‘serious omission in internal security, due to which the recent terrorist attacks in Pahalgam lost the tragic of innocent people and proposed a stay for the government’s foreign policy after the ceasefire with Pakistan after cross-border terrorism and operation sindoor.

Government will not back down from discussion on any subject: Rijiju
Rijiju said, ‘In the meeting, the government sought the cooperation of the opposition for the smooth operation of Parliament. Hopefully hoped that the upcoming session would be fully productive. He said, we are not running away from discussion on any subject including Operation Sindoor. All these subjects are very important for the country, but any debate will be within the purview of rules. 54 leaders attended the all -party meeting.

Not Prime Minister Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath will answer in both houses
Earlier, in an all -party meeting convened on Sunday, the united opposition demanded the government that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should respond to the statements of Operation Sindoor and Trump. After the meeting chaired by Union Health Minister JP Nadda, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the government is ready to discuss all issues including Operation Sindoor as per rules. On the demand for reply from PM Modi, Rijiju said that if the foreign visits are left, then the Prime Minister is always in Parliament during the session. However, they cannot be expected to always sit in the House. Whenever the session is going on, the Union Minister is available to answer questions related to his departments. Sources in the government say that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will give a statement on the main issues including Operation Sindoor. During this time, the opposition in the Rajya Sabha will be allowed to ask questions related to this. The opposition also raised the demand for discussion on special intensive revision of voter list in Bihar, Manipur, Jammu and Kashmir and China. The government will not discuss it due to the issue of voter list being related to the Election Commission and pending in the Supreme Court.
