A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Puri district of Odisha to burn a 15 -year -old girl. After this incident, a person from the village told how the girl reached her house burning in the fire on Saturday morning and was pleading for ‘Bachao-Bachao’.
‘Save Bachao’s scream, burning girl …’
Dakshishyam Senapati, a resident of Balanga village, told a 90 -minute story of the incident on Sunday when the girl came to her door for help. He told that ‘at around 8:30 am, the door was knocked in a loud voice. When the door opened, he saw that a girl was standing in a burning condition and was screaming in a lot of pain.

How to help the girl?
He said that with the help of his wife, he immediately extinguished the fire and gave water to the girl as she was upset with a lot of thirst. Later, the women of his house changed the girl’s clothes. When he asked the girl what happened to her, she told that three stranger bike riders kidnapped her and took her to the banks of the Bhagwati river. They put a handkerchief on her face and put some fluid and then set fire. The commander said, ‘The girl was in great fear and shock, so I did not question her more’.
The accused fled from the spot after the incident
He told that when the girl was abducted, her hands were tied, but when she reached her house, her hands were open. The girl told her father’s name and address of her village, after which the commander informed her family. He also told that while he was helping the girl, many people of the village had gathered at his house. The commander told, ‘I myself ran out of the house and searched for those criminals, but they could not be found. The girl said that after burning her, the accused immediately fled from there. Perhaps she felt that she would die on the spot, but she came out brave and came running to our house.

‘Hospitals took the girl in auto rickshaw’
He also told Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) YB Khurania that 108 ambulances did not arrive on time, causing him to take the girl to the hospital in an auto rickshaw. He told, ‘When we were taking him to the hospital by auto, an ambulance came. The girl stayed at our house for about 90 minutes. The girl has suffered serious burn injuries and has been admitted to AIIMS, New Delhi for better treatment.
