Geeta Dutt, the famous singer of her time, was born on 23 November 1930 in Faridpur (now Bangladesh). Geeta Dutt, a very beautiful and melodious voice, belonged to the landlord family of Faridpur (now Bangladesh). Marry Guru Dutt against family
Talking about personal life, Geeta Dutt’s personal life has been very blurred. He was definitely married to the famous filmmaker Gurudutt, but his story was no less than a sad love story. Geeta Dutt’s first meeting with Gurudutt was on the set of the film ‘Baji’. Gurudutt had become crazy over Geeta’s cheerful nature and Geeta was also convinced of Gurudutt’s direction. The love of both started climbing. Geeta and Gurudutt had decided to marry, but Geeta’s family did not accept this relationship. Despite this, both of them got married in a simple way on 26 May 1953, while protesting the family. After marriage, Geeta Dutt had three children Tarun Dutt, Arun Dutt and Neena Dutt.

Family looked after laughing
Everything was going on right in Guru-Gita’s wedding that suddenly rumors eclipsed their laughing family. This beautiful love story came to an end. According to reports, after marriage, Guru Dutt imposed restrictions on Geeta Dutt that she will sing only in her films. Gradually, musicians also opted out of Geeta Dutt. Meanwhile, the rumor of Guru Dutt’s extramarital affair did fire. Guru Dutt offered Waheeda Rehman in a CID film. She then appeared in Gurudutt’s film Pyaasa. While working together in many films, Waheeda Rehman and Guru Dutt’s love began to be discussed. Troubled by such reports of affair, Geeta Dutt went to her parents’ house with children. In 1964, Gurudutt was found dead in a rented flat. He allegedly committed suicide by consuming sleeping pills. On the other hand, Geeta Dutt got addicted to alcohol. On July 20, 1972, Geeta Dutt also said goodbye to the world at the age of 42 due to liver disease.
