CBI filed second charge sheet on June 30 in government murder case
In the case of the assassination of the government after the results of the assembly elections were declared, the CBI had also registered the names of TMC MLA Paresh Paul and two councilors of the ruling party in the charge sheet, but they moved to the Calcutta High Court, which directed the agency not to take any punitive action against them until 1 August. The CBI filed its second supplementary charge sheet in the case on 30 June, which included the names of 18 accused. The court summoned 18 accused, 15 presented
The court summoned all 18 accused on Friday, out of which 15 appeared. MLAs and councilors who got interim relief did not come. Out of the 15 accused appeared, 11 got bail. Four, including three policemen and one co-accused Sujata Dey, were sent to jail. Sen retired from the post of Assistant Commissioner in November last year, while the government is posted as Inspector, and Debnath is the home guard.
