A 20 -year -old student committed suicide after alleged sexual harassment at Fakir Mohan College, Balasore, Odisha. He then died during treatment at AIIMS in Bhubaneswar. The Odisha Police’s crime branch started investigating the case and interrogated the only witness Jyotiranjan Biswal, who was burnt in an attempt to save the student.

A 20 -year -old student set herself on fire after alleged sexual harassment at Fakir Mohan College, Balasore, Odisha. The crime branch of the Odisha Police, investigating this tragic incident, took an important step on Thursday. The police recorded the statement of a person named Jyotiranjan Biswal in the case, who was also scorched in an attempt to save the student.

The crime branch took over the matter on Wednesday and questioned Jyotiranjan admitted to SCB Medical College in Cuttack on Thursday. Police believe that Jyotiranjan is the only witness to the incident, which can tell the truth of the incident on the college campus on 12 July.
