The Punjab government has brought the Crime Prevention Bill, 2025 names against sacred texts. The bill related to disgrace was approved by the cabinet on Monday. It was introduced in the assembly on Tuesday. After discussion in the House, it was unanimously sent to the Select Committee. This committee will submit its report to the Legislative Assembly in six months.
