Shahdara District Deputy Commissioner Prashant Gautam said that his team received information that a building in Old Govindpura had caught fire on Tuesday night at around 8.45 pm. 10 people were stranded in the building.

A sudden fire broke out on Tuesday night in the four -storey building of Old Govindpura in Jagatpuri in Shahdara district. On seeing this, the fire engulfed the entire building. Apart from the police, 9 fire engines reached the spot as soon as the accident was received. 10 people were stranded in the building. Police and firefighters took 6 people safely with the help of neighbors.
