Meerut Special Task Force (STF) in Muzaffarnagar has achieved great success. Meerut Special Task Force killed gangster Sanjeev Maheshwari Jeeva and mafia don Mukhtar Ansari gang shooter Shahrukh Pathan in an encounter. Shah Rukh Pathan, a resident of Khalapar, fired more than 10 rounds on the police. In retaliation firing, STF killed sharp shooter Shah Rukh Pathan.

According to the information, Shah Rukh Pathan had more than a dozen cases registered. The STF recovered three pistols from the spot. More than 60 cartridges and a car have also been recovered. Police has also recovered a 9 mm desi pistol from Shah Rukh Pathan.

STF ASP Brijesh Kumar said that on the basis of an information, the STF team had siege the car rider. Late in the night, an encounter with the car riding a car took place at Bijopura Tirahe in Chhapar area.

Shah Rukh Pathan, a resident of Mohalla Khalapar in Khalapar police station in Muzaffarnagar district, was killed in the encounter. Three pistols and more than 50 cartridges including desi pistols were recovered from him.
