Indian team veteran batsman Sunil Gavaskar questioned the reliability of ball tracking technology. On the fourth day of the third Test match being played between India and England at Lord’s, Gavaskar questioned the DRS after surviving the appeal of Joe Root’s LBW. In fact, India appealed to LBW out the root off Mohammad Siraj, but umpire Paul Refel called it a notout after which India resorted to DRS. The decision of the umpire in DRS was upheld.
