India’s veteran opener KL Rahul praised the vice-captain Rishabh Pant after his record-breaking performance on the third day of the third Test against England at Lord’s and said that he also dreams of putting a shot like this left-handed batsman. Rahul said that he likes to bat in the top order. He also expressed his opinion on Pant’s run out case. After scoring his second century of the series at Lord’s, Rahul said that under the guidance of coaches working in Formula-1, he has worked hard to improve his response time. Rahul has been seen the most trusted batsman in the series so far. His ability to leave the ball well and stay on the field for a long time has helped him to perform better in English conditions.
He said, ‘When there is no match, I sit quietly and dream of playing such shots and playing with that kind of mentality and attitude. But yes, it has always been just a dream. Me and Pant also talk a lot on the technical aspects of batting along with cricket and batting. Rahul fresh the old memories and stated that during the rehab in NCA in 2023, he felt that Pant was a deep thinker of the game. Their approach depends a lot on a deliberate process.

Rahul scored his second century at Lord’s. However, he was dismissed soon after a century. Rahul was caught by Shoaib Bashir at the hands of Harry Brook. He scored 100 runs in 177 balls with the help of 13 fours. This was his 10th century in the Test.
