
On the first day of Sawan, devotees were set up at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham on Friday. When Baba’s darshan started with Mangala Aarti, the whole dham echoed with the cheering of Har Har Mahadev. Others, including the Mandalayukta and the CEO of the temple, performed flowers on the devotees. During this time, the devotees jumped with joy.

The first day of Shravan month started with Mangala Aarti of Lord Vishwanath. After the Mangala Aarti, this year, on the initiative of Mandalayukta S Rajalingam, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Temple Trust, he was welcomed by offering flowers on the devotees.

Devotees were welcomed along with worshiping the devotees in front of the three peaks of Baba Vishwanath, Lord Dandapani and Lord Baikuntheshwar located between him in the Dham campus.

After this, the Kashi tradition of Hari-Har was carried forward by offering flowers on the devotees from the main sanctum sanctorum to the Lord Badrinarayan temple in the temple courtyard itself. This flower will be given to the devotees on the first day of Sawan with Akshat Prasad of Maa Annapurna throughout the day.

After Mangala Aarti, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Temple Trust, Mandalayukta S Rajalingam, Chief Executive Officer Vishwa Bhushan, Deputy Collector Shambhu Sharan, Tehsildar Mini L Shekhar were present to welcome the devotees.
