On the night of August 22, 2024, Kaashvi, unable to sleep, decided to take a walk in the house. As she wandered through the dimly lit halls, she noticed a shadow moving nearby. Fear gripped her, and she screamed, her voice echoing through the stillness of the night. Pradyumna, hearing her cries, rushed to her side and immediately turned on the lights. He asked her what had happened, and she explained, trembling, about the shadow she had seen. Concerned, Pradyumna ordered the servants to search every room in the house. They did so but found nothing unusual. Pradyumna then reassured Kaashvi, telling her to call him if she got scared again, and they both retired to their rooms. Unknown to Kaashvi, Swati was watching, a smirk playing on her lips.
The following morning, Kaashvi woke up, still shaken from the previous night’s events. Swati, noticing her unease, approached her and suggested that perhaps she really had seen a shadow. She then hinted that it could be the ghost of Neelam, Pradyumna’s ex-wife, returning because of her connection to him. Kaashvi, skeptical, reminded Swati that Pradyumna had divorced Neelam. But Swati revealed something even more disturbing: Neelam had died after the divorce. Swati implied that Neelam’s ghost was back, but Kaashvi refused to believe her. She firmly told Swati to stop talking about ghosts and supernatural occurrences.
Elsewhere in the house, Jagadish was speaking with Nitya. He expressed his desire for Arjun and Meera to sit as a couple for the upcoming Shravan puja, a traditional prayer ritual. He also asked Nitya to give the family bangle to Meera, symbolizing her acceptance into the family. Nitya nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, at school, Meera was busy encouraging Karun, a young student, to focus on his studies. Karun had recently come second in a school exam, and his classmates congratulated him on his achievement. When Kaashvi approached Pradyumna, he informed her that their land deal had been finalized. He then inquired if Swati had been bothering her. Kaashvi, still troubled by Swati’s words, asked Pradyumna if Neelam and Swati had been close. Pradyumna, clearly uncomfortable, avoided the question, saying he didn’t want to talk about Neelam, and abruptly left. The next day, Nitya was filled with anger towards Meera, believing she deserved to be punished. Driven by her resentment, she poured oil on the stairs, intending for Meera to slip and fall. As Meera was getting ready, Arjun helped her put on a saree, complimenting her as she left the room. Unaware of Nitya’s malicious plan, Meera stepped onto the stairs and slipped on the oil. Just as she was about to fall, Arjun caught her, preventing what could have been a serious accident. Nitya, watching from the shadows, realized that Meera was pregnant when she saw Meera holding her stomach and screaming in pain.
