On the night of August 10, 2024, the atmosphere in the house was tense as Ranjeeta returned from her night shift. Concerned, she immediately asked Megha if everything was alright. Megha, with evident frustration, shared her concerns about Surendar’s ongoing issues. She asked Ranjeeta to manage Surendar’s situation as she needed to leave to meet Manoj, who had urgently called her.
As Megha prepared to leave, Ranjeeta took the opportunity to speak with Surendar, reminding him of the wrongs committed the previous day and informing him of the current situation. Megha, meanwhile, arrived at the meeting point, expecting Manoj but was instead surprised by the arrival of Sonam. Sonam, with her usual playful demeanor, teased Megha before leaving. As Megha stood there, she received a call from an unfamiliar number. Skeptical, she disconnected it, only to learn from Manoj later that it was his new number.
In a different scene, Harmindar discussed with Arjun that a conman had reactivated his old phone number. Both left the police station, with Harmindar suspecting the conman might be hiding in a nearby fort.
Back at the fort, Megha finally met Manoj. She questioned him about why he had called her. In response, she handed him a cheque worth fifty thousand rupees. Manoj was taken aback, noting the irony of Megha giving him money while Ranjeeta was conducting an investigation. Confused about the direction their relationship was taking, he voiced his concerns. However, Megha quickly apologized, and Manoj, with a lighthearted tone, admitted he was just joking, adding that he understood Ranjeeta had valid reasons for her actions. Despite this, he refused to accept the cheque.
Megha then revealed her thoughts about not taking the 25 lakhs from Surendar, explaining that her father needed the money more. She suggested that Surendar and her brother could start a business with it, emphasizing that with Manoj by her side, she didn’t need the money. Manoj was shocked by this revelation. As he processed this information, he received an important call, excusing himself and leaving the conversation abruptly.
As Manoj left, he accidentally collided with Arjun, and both apologized to each other. Megha tried to reach out to Manoj again, but his phone was switched off. Meanwhile, Harmindar, alongside Arjun, realized that the conman had switched off his phone too, confirming their suspicion that he was still nearby. Arjun resumed his search, only to run into Megha again. This time, he caught her before she fell. Recognizing each other, Megha accused Arjun of always bringing trouble into her life before he hurried off in search of the conman.
Distracted by her cracked phone screen, Megha chased after Arjun, demanding he take responsibility for the damage. As Arjun noticed a man running in the distance, he tried to leave, but Megha, determined, held onto him, insisting he repair her phone. Harmindar intervened, informing Megha that Arjun was a senior officer to both him and Ranjeeta. Hearing this, Megha let go of Arjun, who handed her money to cover the repair before leaving.
Back at the house, tensions flared as Goldie, visibly upset, scolded Ranjeeta and Surendar. Megha entered amidst the commotion. Ranjeeta then briefed everyone about the conman case. Goldie, still bitter, shared her painful past, mentioning how her husband left her for a model, leaving her to raise their children alone in her brother’s house. Megha, trying to comfort Goldie, was met with Goldie’s approval of Manoj as a good match for her. However, Megha, with a heavy heart, revealed that Manoj had refused to accept the money she offered him and had left abruptly after receiving a call.
Goldie, concerned about the implications, mentioned that it wouldn’t bode well if Manoj’s mother learned about the investigation. Just as the conversation grew tense, Manoj arrived with his mother, leaving everyone in a state of anticipation.
