PlayStation is offering an exciting new experience for all PlayStation Plus members this weekend. They can dive into the Concord Early Access Beta. What is Concord?
Concord is a multiplayer hero shooter. It takes players into the Concord Galaxy, where they can battle across different planets. The game aims to provide a rich story through cinematic vignettes released weekly.
Beta Access Details
The beta has two parts: Early Access and Open Beta. The Early Access Beta is from July 12 to 14, 2024. It is available to all PlayStation Plus members. After this, an Open Beta will run from July 18 to 21, 2024. This will give even more players a chance to try the game before its official release.

Maps and Modes
During the beta, players can experience different maps and game modes:
- Maps:
- Freewater: Set on the planet Glance with a large central courtyard.
- Water Hazard: Located on the stormy planet Leviathan, featuring battles on a floating rig.
- Star Chamber: An ancient observatory on the planet Gloom.
- Shock Risk: Battles beneath a lightning-harvesting kite on Leviathan.
In the Open Beta, a new map called Bone Mines on the planet Akkar will be introduced.
- Modes:
- Trophy Hunt: Teams collect bounty cards by taking down rivals.
- Cargo Run: Teams compete to deliver a robotic package.
- Clash Point: Teams fight to control a central zone.
- Area Control: Introduced in the Open Beta, where teams control multiple zones to win.
How to Join
To join the Early Access Beta, players need a PlayStation Plus membership. They can download the beta from the PlayStation Store. For the Open Beta, all players with a PlayStation Plus membership can join without any additional steps. This gives players a unique opportunity to experience Concord before its official release.
