Gran Turismo 7 has just released its latest update, 1.48, on May 29, 2024. The update is packed with exciting new content that fans of the series are sure to love. This update brings back some classic Gran Turismo legends and introduces new features to enhance the gaming experience.

The highlight of the 1.48 update is the addition of five new cars. These cars include iconic models that fans have been eagerly awaiting. The new lineup features the Toyota GT-One, Lamborghini Urus, Audi R8 V10 Plus, and two other yet-to-be-revealed vehicles. The Toyota GT-One, a fan-favorite endurance race car, returns to the game after a long absence. It is known for its participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the late 1990s.

The Lamborghini Urus, making its Gran Turismo debut, is a super SUV that combines luxury with high performance. It is equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, making it one of the fastest production SUVs in the world. The Audi R8 V10 Plus, another addition, is celebrated for its powerful 5.2-litre V10 engine and sleek design.

In addition to new cars, the update introduces a new Café Menu feature. This feature adds an extra layer of gameplay by challenging players to collect specific cars. The latest addition, Extra Menu No. 37, focuses on collecting Jaguars, which adds a fun and engaging task for players at collector level 41 and above.

Three new events have been added to the World Circuits as well. These include the European Clubman Cup 600 at Blue Moon Bay Speedway, the Schwarzwald League at High Speed Ring, and the World Touring Car 900 at the 24 Heures du Mans race track. These events provide new challenges and opportunities for players to test their skills on different tracks.

A new Scapes location has also been added. The Fukushima Scape offers a fresh backdrop for players to showcase their cars in stunning photographic settings. This feature allows players to capture and share beautiful images of their favorite vehicles.

Moreover, for a limited time, 26 stickers themed around the Japanese anime “Highspeed Étoile” are available in the Livery Editor. These stickers include title logos and main character designs, adding a touch of creativity and personalization for players who enjoy customizing their cars.

The update also brings several minor improvements and bug fixes to enhance gameplay. The Balance of Performance (BOP) glitch, which allowed players to change car settings even in regulated events, has been fixed. This ensures fair play in online races by maintaining performance parity across all cars in a given class.

Gran Turismo 7 continues to evolve with each update, bringing new content and improvements to keep players engaged. The addition of classic cars, new gameplay features, and enhanced visual elements make Update 1.48 a significant release for the series. Fans can look forward to more exciting updates in the future as Polyphony Digital continues to support and expand the game.
