
Yogi cabinet’s big decision
In the UP cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 13 proposals out of 15 proposals were approved. In this meeting, several important proposals were approved in which the duty allowance of 34 thousand provincial protector party i.e. PRD personnel of the state has been increased from Rs 350 to Rs 500 per day. Giving information about the decisions taken in the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna said that a total of 15 proposals were made in the meeting, in which 13 were approved. In this, the decision to increase the duty allowance of the Provincial Guard Team (PRD) was also approved.
An increase in allowance will be applicable from April 1 to 2025
He informed that the Council of Ministers has given its consent to the duty allowance of PRD jawans to be Rs 395 to Rs 395. This increase of Rs 105 in duty allowance will be considered applicable from April 1, 2025. He informed that on this, an additional expenditure of Rs 75 crore 87 lakh 50 thousand will be incurred on the state government. He informed that there are a total of 34092 PRD volunteers in the state, who will get the benefit. After the implementation of the proposal, on the basis of 30 days of presence of PRD volunteers, duty allowance will increase by Rs 3150 per month.
The Finance Department was also proposed in the meeting of the Council of Ministers. Under this, the proposal for Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Cooperative Societies and Panchayat Audit Services Rules 2025 Reorganization was approved. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the promotion posts so far were more and the posts below were less. Now this pyramid has been fixed.
Under this, now the posts below have been made more. He informed that under this, out of this, 150 out of the total 1307 posts, 150 posts have been included in the 255 posts created by Assistant Auditor General, and 464 of the total 405 posts of Assistant Auditor General and 464 posts of 1307 posts have been included in 436 posts composed as auditors. That is, the posts below were total of 900. Under the process of restructuring, the posts below will be higher and gradually the top will continue to decrease.
