Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh performed properly on the ticket windows. However, after the First Day First Show, the critics and the audience gave the movie positive response. Despite a major fall at the box office, Kesari 2 has crossed the Rs 40 crore mark. Given the current pace, the film will cross the 50 crore mark in the coming week soon.

According to Sacnilk’s report, Kesari Chapter 2 earned worldwide 70.70 crores in 6 days. According to media reports, the historical drama has been made in a budget of 150 crores. It is getting a tough competition at the box office from Sunny Deol’s Jat. India managed to earn the movie 42 crores. Apart from this, it earned 7.75 crores on Opening Day. It will be interesting to see the film’s performance at the box office in the coming weeks, especially after Emraan Hashmi’s ground Zero (25 April) and Ajay Devgan’s thriller Red 2 (May 1).
What is the story of Kesari Chapter 2
The story focuses on the life of lawyer C Shankaran Nair, who tries to find out the truth behind the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film stars Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, Ananya Pandey, Simon Pasley Day, Regina Kasandra, Alex O’nell, Amit Sial, Mark Bennington and Sammy Jonas Henny. It is written and directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. Heeru Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawala, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh, Bindra Anand Tiwari and Akshay Kumar have supported.
