“Welcome back, commander!” When we hear this sentence, we feel at home. The Command-&-Conquer series shaped the life of many video game fans and revolutionized the genre of real-time strategy in the 1990s. Regardless of whether we shocked the tiberium over resource fields and annoyed ourselves about their strun, Yuri chased through the time to smile from one real film intermediate sequence to the next, or spent in general nights in multiplayer games, Command & Conquer is simply RTS love.
But which C&C is actually the best? The spirits differ here, because everyone has their own favorites. Many fans do nothing about the traditional Tiberium series, with the iconic factions GDI and NOD. Others prefer to shred themselves with allies and Soviets in alarm level. Unfortunately, generals only got one offshoot, but multiplayer fans still swear by the RTS hit in modern times. And then there was also the Renegade Curiosity, which made the series a shooter and still has a loyal community.
Tempest Rising is a tribute to these old video game beads and will be released in the next few days. Appropriately, we want to know from you: What is your favorite C & C?
