Jamshedpur: Anuj Kanaujia, the shooter of UP mafia Mukhtar Ansari, was killed late on March 29. UP STF and Jharkhand Police carried out this operation in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand in a joint operation. Now a video of this encounter has also surfaced, in which the echo of bullets is heard everywhere.

The killed shooter had a reward of 2.5 lakh rupees. He was absconding for a long time. Earlier, he had a reward of one lakh. Later, the amount of reward was increased to 2.5 lakhs. There were more than 2 dozen cases against him. He was a sharp shooter of Mukhtar Ansari and originally from Mau.
Anuj Kanaujia’s criminal history is long. Apart from Mau, there are many cases registered in Ghazipur. He was dodging the police for a long time, so the reward amount against him was increased from one lakh to 2.5 lakhs. He was looking for several police teams. According to the information received, he was absconding for five years.
The police had shed a lot of sweat to catch Anuj Kanaujia. His house in Azamgarh was dropped from a bulldozer to increase the pressure on him. Apart from this, his family members were also sent to jail and action was taken against him under the Gangster Act.
Mukhtar Ansari’s henchmen also wanted to kill Anuj
Not only the police was looking for Anuj Kanaujia, but also the henchmen of Mukhtar Ansari wanted to kill Anuj Kanaujia. Actually, Anuj Kanaujia’s wife Reena is quite beautiful. According to police sources, some of the operatives of Mukhtar were eyeing Anuj’s wife. Anuj was absconding since 2019. After the death of Mukhtar last year, UP STF intensified the search for Anuj Kanaujia. In such a situation, Anuj fled Jamshedpur for fear of the police.
Some of Mukhtar’s operatives were eyeing Reena and he was trying to remove Anuj from the way, so that he could achieve Reena. Before Mukhtar’s henchmen killed Anuj, UP STF killed Anuj in an encounter.
