Big action in case of hoisting of saffron flag at Ghazi Mian’s Dargah
Prayagraj: On Sunday, DCP Kuldeep Singh Gunawat has taken a major action to the Sikandra Chowki in -charge of Bahria, Ravi Katiyar, Constable Sunil Kumar and Anshu Kumar, for negligence in the matter of shouting religious slogans by hoisting a saffron flag on the dome of Ghazi Mian’s Dargah. DCP Ganga Nagar Kuldeep Singh Gunawat had ordered ADCP Pushkar Verma to investigate the entire case. In the investigation of IPS Pushkar Verma, prima facie the negligence of police personnel in this case has come to light and the DCP has taken this major action after the report of the investigation.
Police arrested Manendra Singh
Police have arrested the main accused Manendra Pratap Singh in the case of hoisting saffron and uproar by the Hindu organization at the dargah of Salar Masood Ghazi Mian. DCP Ganganagar Zone Kuldeep Singh Gunawat has confirmed the arrest. Manendra Pratap Singh has been accused of hoisting the saffron flag by shouting slogans at the Dargah of Salar Masood Ghazi Mian in Sikandra in Bahria police station area of Ganganagar zone and a case has been registered against him in Bahria police station.
Station in -charge has lodged FIR
Ravi Kumar Katiyar, in -charge of Bahria police station, has lodged an FIR. An FIR has been lodged against Manendra Singh, Rajkumar Singh, Vinay Tiwari, Abhishek Singh and 20 unidentified people in sections 196, 223, 299 and 302 of BNS. Manendra Pratap Singh has been the former state president of Karni Sena. After the case was registered, Manendra himself said on his social media account that I am going to give my arrest.
Video went viral on social media
On Sunday, on Ram Navami, activists associated with Maharaja Suhaldev Samman Suraksha Manch created a ruckus at the Dargah of Ghazi Mian and the video of the uproar went viral on social media. In this case, the police had started departmental proceedings against the policemen who were negligent. At the same time, the police is also looking for other accused. Police say that peace is maintained on the spot.
