Aligarh: A shocking case has come to light from Aligarh, UP. Here a 3 -year -old child died 45 days after a dog bites. The child was bitten by a stray dog. At that time no one had an idea that this small incident would come out as such a big pain.
The child’s life lost in negligence
The case is of Nathu village of Chharra police station area of Aligarh district. The family did not take it seriously in the beginning, but when the effect of this incident came to light, there was a stir. The child lost his life. When the situation worsened, the family also went to the hospital with him but the doctors raised suspicion of rabies.
Later it was discovered that Anshu was injected with anti-rabies 20 days after the dog bites, while it was necessary to give within 48 hours. On 11 April 2025, Anshu breathed his last, and the happiness of a family was snatched away forever.
This incident is not just the story of the death of a child but a living proof of negligence. The number of stray dogs is increasing in villages and cities, but the government and common people are not paying attention to it.
When this incident has happened, people are questioning how long the lives of innocent people will continue to go like this? Will our eyes open only after snatching a child’s laughter?
The news also came to light that the dog who attacked Anshu had also attacked 10 more children that day. These children also did not take any treatment. But Anshu saw symptoms of hydrophobia before death, after which his family considered the matter serious.
CMO’s statement came out
Dr. Neeraj Tyagi, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Aligarh district, said, “We have taken the matter very seriously and a campaign is being carried out for all preventive steps like anti-rebij vaccine.” The CMO also said that he cannot confirm that Anshu died due to rabies. The CMO said that the dog was killed after the incident, due to which the dog could not be tested. (input language)
