(CNN Spanish) – The National Water Commission of Mexico (Conagua) announced this Thursday that tropical depression Once-E had been downgraded to a low pressure system.
However, Conagua added that the system will maintain intense rains in the south and southeast of the country.
“Winds with gusts of 60 to 80 km/h are expected on the coast of Oaxaca; gusts of 40 to 60 km/h on the coasts of Guerrero and Chiapas, as well as waves of 1 to 3 meters high on the coasts of the aforementioned states,” indicates the statement, which points out that due to the weakening of the system, it will be the last one that is issued.
