A fire in a dandruff has led to a route closure in the Lower Rhine. According to the train, only replacement buses drove between Düsseldorf and Kleve on Tuesday morning.
The shed in a commercial area in Geldern caught fire in the morning. As a precaution, the nearby railway line was closed because at least one gas bottle is in the shed, a spokesman for the federal police said. Trains on line RE 10, the so-called Niers Express, were affected.
Because of the strong smoke development, the population was also called through the Warnapp Nina to close windows and doors.
